Water Channel Improvement on Jalan Kebon Jahe IX to Complete February

The damaged water channel improvement on Jalan Kebon Jahe IX RT 14/02, Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Gambir, is targeted to complete next February. The effort has been started since Monday (1/21).

The water channel condition is worrying

Gambir Sub-district Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Mohammad Imawan, said the improvement is run to respond local resident's request through Musrenbang.

Channel's Plaster on Jalan Agung Tengah II Repaired

"The water channel condition is worrying. Many of channel's covers are damage," he said, Wednesday (1/24).

Imawan added that the improvement is run by making trace along 40 meter on the both side of the road. The trace will be also widened from 40 x 40 cm to 60 x 60 cm.

"We deploy 21 personnel to improve the water channel. It is hoped the work will complete next February," he added.

One of local residents, Rudi (43), appreciated the effort of improving water channel. It is afraid the broken channel will trigger inundation.

"It is hoped the newly improved water channel will minimize inundation during heavy rain," he closed.
